- 27.1% of Scotland’s UK exports (£13.870 million)
Financial and business services covers a range of subsectors. This includes:
- business support
- financial services
- management consultancy
- legal and accounting
- insurance and pensions
How Scotland’s financial and business services exports have increased since 2002
Between 2002 and 2018 Scotland’s financial and business services exports increased:
- internationally from £1.6 billion to £4 billion
- to the rest of the UK from £6 billion to £13.9 billion

We’ll continue to work with the financial and business services sector to help increase exports. This will include working with businesses in the growing financial technologies sector.
